From Edinburgh Airport

By Car
Turn onto the A8 and head for the City Centre, follow Corstorphine Road into the city centre, pass Haymarket Station and onto Princes Street, following left hand signs onto the one way system. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights onto Queen Street. Follow Queen Street into York Place. At the roundabout turn right onto Leith Street, turn left after the second set of traffic lights and then left up a steep cobbled street called Calton Hill and you are there!

By Bus
The Airport bus runs into the city approximately every 15/30 minutes. The first bus is at 08:37am, and the last bus at 20:35 Mon to Fri, 19:35 Sat, 20:10 Sun. The drop off is at Waverley Station.

By Taxi
The maximum journey time (in rush hour!) is approximately 1 hour. The fare - £18. (approx.)

From Waverley station

Waverley Station is a 5 minute walk away. Walk towards the east end of Princes Street to Waterloo Place, turn left at the Café 1812 on to Calton Hill.
The Scotrail Trains run every 15 minutes from Glasgow (45 mins). GNER services run via the east coast line to London ( approx 4.45 hrs) The Virgin trains run via the West coast line. Tel 0345 484950

From the Bus station At St. Andrews Bus Station, turn left onto south St. Andrews Street and then left at the traffic lights onto Princes St, this leads onto Waterloo Place. Turn left at Café 1812 to Calton Hill. St. Andrews bus enquiries Tel. 0131 5575061

By road From the Edinburgh City by-pass (A720), take the Straiton Junction onto the A701 to the City centre, down Burdiehouse Road, Liberton Brae and onto North Bridge. Turn right at the traffic lights for Princes Street onto Waterloo Place, turn left at Café 1812 onto Calton Hill.

Parking The Hotel has a special rate for overnight underground parking at the Greenside car park, which is off Leith Street adjacent to the hotel. The charge is £1.80 between 17.00 and 10.00 the following day.
